Woman In Court For Forcing Nieces Into Prostitution

If we don't trust family I wonder who we can trust...

A 50-year-old woman, Yemisi Olalekan, has been remanded in prison custody by an Osogbo Magistrate's Court for allegedly coercing two of her under-aged nieces into prostitution.

Testifying before Magistrate Olusola Aluko, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges of seduction, unlawful detention, exploitation and threat to life.

The charge sheet obtained on Wednesday alleged that Olalekan, who sells locally-brewed gin, was in the habit of tying her nieces to the bed in her room while she collected money from men to have carnal knowledge of them.

The charge sheet gave the nicknames of the nieces as Omogbe and Idi-Ileke aged 14 and 16 respectively, adding that the offence was committed in Ipetumodu last December.

Police prosecutor, Sergeant Elisha Olusegun, told the court that Olalekan exploited the under-aged to enrich herself.

Olusegun said Olalekan also threatened to kill the teenagers if they exposed her.

The police prosecutor contended that the alleged act was contrary to Section 222, 226 and 86 (A) (1) of the Criminal Code, Cap 34, Volume II, Laws of Osun State of Nigeria.

Aluko, who said the accused must file a formal bail application, ordered that she be remanded in Ilesa prison custody till October 18, 2012, when the case would be mentioned in court.

So today I did a very colourful make up. I used an aquamarine blue with purple eye make up and a brown with black crease eye shadow too.

So I used a brown sleek eye pencil for my brow, then black opal foundation, my colour and a mary kay concealer, then iman clay medium dark powder(loose).

My eye shadow was from different collections, sleek, calvin klien and ab unbranded one too.

I used a local lip stick, blue flames...

Hope you like it..

"We Are All Alone At The End Of The Day"

This is a blog that is a bit unsual, just a thought that came to me at my 'me time'

Its something I have learned over the years, and believe ye me, its very true. Yes they say family is very important, its all you have, but sometimes you realize that its all you.
My mother always tells us this proverb "onye n'anwu ji anya ya anwu".... Its an igbo proverb(nigerian dialect) which means, when you die, you die alone, so at the most of it, look out for yourself, there is just much family can always do for you, there you learn to make decisions that will create a positive impact on your life, make friends that reflect positively in your life, have discussions that will improve your intellect...
Be optimistic, be hard-working, be courageous, be driven, set goals, make achievements, live a positive life cos at the end of the day, we are all alone....xx:)

1st August

My boss was so on my case yesterday with whole new year, new perspective ish and what not, so I gotta put in more effort and time at work which I have been doing but anyway... My friend and I took pictures of us at my awesome work place.
She wore white and gold detailed play suit with a carton colour blazer and flats and I wore green straight cut trousers with a pink chiffon blouse made by it's Lui's Clothing and a rock inspired jacket.
I did our make ups to... I don't have time to detail them now, for her I used sleek natural pallet, and for me I did a yellow green smoky eye with nude lips...
